good news and bad news

the good news is i found a cheap apartment really close to campus with all utilities paid for the summer and next year. the bad news is it doesn't open until may 10, and the dorms close may 5. this means i'll probably have to stay at one of my relatives in the Twin Cities area until i can move in, which despite being one of the coolest areas in the country is still 80 miles away. so i'll be driving 80 miles to and back every time i work.

then again, i've driven up there before just to go shopping at hipster stores and play in video arcades, so maybe i shouldn't complain.
