Y'know, me & my buds used to make fun of him - no, DESPISE HIM - on SNL with his "me, Al Franken", and "Franken Decade" routines (am I dating myself?). But he was awsome!

A funny guy with great values, a patriot, a hero.

I still use the "me, Al Franken" line to this day. And yes, believe me it dates you. I get a lot of Golden Retriever looks. (You know, a stare and a slight tilting of the head)

I remember when he was a team with Tom Davis. That should really date me!

His Stuart Smalley character is very funny and touching. I read the book the movie was based on and found it a compassionate look at dysfunctional families, not at all one-note as the SNL skits sometimes appeared.

So I'm askin': did he talk about Rush? Did he talk about O'Reilly?
