5. Thanks, Peggy, but I don't need a hug. I need a psychiatrist.
Or an exorcist. Or maybe just a big guy with a 2x4.

6. Is winning what's really important?
In 44 seasons as a baseball fan, I've always thought the game was the first thing.

7. oh, come on, they won more than half of their games!!
That's more winning than losing. Seriously though, I can't believe you actually watched today. I wasn't going to. I was going to wait until next year and see if they were announced as world series champions.

8. How about the Cleveland Indians?
:hide:

Buck up, little camper! The Red Sox broke their problem, the White Sox broke their problem... maybe the Cubs are next! This seems to be the decade for smashing stigmas.

17. Ah! The song banned by Dallas Green in the 80's because it was too negative.
I think the story was that in retaliation the late Steve Goodman then wrote 'Go Cubs go' (the song that got so much play this year)

11. Take your pick:
Manchester United,

Arsenal,

Chelsea,

Liverpool.

Support all four and then you're bound to win everything!

Mark.

18. As a Saints and Texas Rangers fan, I've got no sympathy for you.
The Saints did not have a winning season in the 20 years I cheered for them.
