Have we lost our sense of humor?

I hear jokes all the time that are funny. And when they're funny, I laugh. Simple enough.

I have seen many people take offense to jokes that don't attack anyone or anything--jokes that exist for simple laughter.

Have anyone else noticed lately that people don't laugh at jokes much anymore, and instead, find it offensive right off the bat? Why are people so uptight these days?

This is not an attack on anyone, just a generalization I have seen in the past years.

What do you think?

12. I've noticed it also....Hell, I was in the Grocery Store

and when checking out the cashier couldn't get the box of Wheaties
to scan. She asked me how much they were and I replied "ah..29 cents!
She got all pissed off at me and said "Sir, these couldn't be 29 cents"
Geez.......No sense of humor at all....
