What size needles? I've spent the evening beading and am now drinking a screwdriver before bed. My next project, after finishing the Halloween costume, will be knitting felted slippers. So, you cook, you knit, you study. What else do you do?

I've never done stained glass but my mother has done it for years. It takes up space! and I can see where collecting glass would become an obsession. I've only knitted "turkish" socks... in traditional patter with the pointy toe and heel. When I was the happy hausfrau I did every domestic thing you can think of. Not so much any more. Yeah, get a sewing machine. The new ones are so much fun!

I haven't been around much recently. Too many bad things happening, too much time spent in bed in too much pain, and not enough time left to socialize. I feel like I've been neglecting my friends here at DU.

Worse, everything has been getting so bad that I've slipped into a depression and it has become hard to get the energy to do anything, so I often just sit around doing nothing. :(

I'm sorry I haven't been around more. I'm sorry I haven't spoken to you recently. It really isn't deliberate. :(
