Has Joel Veitch sold out? |

The Spongmonkeys seem like interesting new characters. So why are they selling Quizno's subs to me?

1. It's not he, it is they. The Spongemonkeys took the money and ran. |

I think the commercials are pretty funny. And Quizno's Subs is a rather benign company in that their product is not manufactured in sweat shops, nor do they sell bargain-basement, dubious quality food to the masses (hell, one could eat very well for a day on a footlong vegetarian sub from there and it might cost about $7.50 where I am, rather than the cost of a couple Value Menu items from another fast food place, but it's worth every penny). I don't know if the food costs are translated into better wages and working conditions for the employees, but one can hope.
The little creatures are funny and have obvious mass appeal, so why shouldn't the creator have a chance to earn decent money for his work?
Edited for clarity because I'm tired as hell
