For Those Who Remember Me Talking About A Really Small Premature Baby....

That was born in my hospital last November, I just wanted to give an update.

The baby boy went home yesterday. After about three months in the NICU he was finally big enough to feed without IV's.

Quite amazing when you consider he was born at 403g - or 14 ounces - or less than one pound.

He's one of the smallest babies ever born in New York and about three ounces away from being the third smallest baby ever born in the United States.

His name is Robert and everyone here called him 'Rocky' because he was such a fighter.

He's still got a long, long way to go and he'll probably end up with some learning disability or function (as most extreme premies do) in the future, but for right now - he's the baby that shouldn't have survived, who did.

Cute story, just thought I'd share it with you guys.
