Pepto Bismol is my friend |
|
Seriously, it is a miracle drug for me.
I have a hiatal hernia - a wonderful condition where your stomach actually pops through the hole in your diaphram where your esophegus goes thru. Every month or so I have an attack. Never sure what brings it on, could be my posture, something I hate, wearing something too tight around my middrift.
As soon as I feel an attack coming on, if I can get to a bottle of Pepto within the first 30 seconds, the attack stops immediately.
If I can't get Pepto into me during that window, I'm in for at least a half an hour of the most excrutiating pain I've ever felt in my life. On par with childbirth.
So I keep Pepto with me at all times - like nitro glicerin.
Anybody else have a drug that they have to keep with them at all times.
