Don't get me wrong, there are some really cool newbies I've seen the last couple of days. But there seems to be a large number of really nasty newbies lately.
I think I may stay in the lounge for awhile, it's scary out there.

I guess when I first started posting I started out slow.
I have a bad feeling about someone with less than 100 posts that start attacking other DUers. My warning bells also go off when they start their posts with, "I've been a dem all my life, but" or "some of my best friends are ____, but".

4. It was noted yesterday that DU was linked from several blogs and

from the Washington Post, so I'm not surprised we have a lot of newbies, some are great, some not so hot. But it's to be expected with all the free publicity we have had lately.

I'm a newbie and I've noticed our posts don't get read as much. It does take time to get noticed anywhere, I understand that. All I hope is the "oldtimers" give the "newbies" a chance and read their posts, and make comments. On another note, WOOO HOOO I almost have 100 posts.

unless there's a specific reason, like they say something particularly brilliant, or, of course, something particularly stooooopid or something particularly freepezoid.
