Love PBS....Hate this Forsyth saga crap
Forsythe? Forthythe? Phore-psith? ugh!!!!!

Man, most of the time PBS has the best stuff on TV (don't have cable). However, I'm going to rant a bit. I love English humor when it comes in the form of Python, Douglas Adams (duh), Terry Pratchett etc. But English drama stinks IMHO. I'll poke out my eye's before I ever read another Dickens novel. (sidenote...Shakesphere is the exception proving the rule) :)

I do not mean to offend, just lounging here :) anyway, I can't wait for this stupid drama crap to be over and a return to regular programing.

3. It was fine...
the first time around. This version doth suck verily. Why does anyone remake successful shows? Couldn't be a greater ratio of greed/ego to intelligence, could it?

5. Agree
I couldn't wait for the next episode in the first version.

I have seen only a few minutes of a couple of episodes of the remake, and I thought it was inferior.

7. what a bunch of undereducated yobos
The Forsythe Saga isn't Elizabethan. It's Edwardian. And Edwardian is a long way off from Elizabethan. Geez, no wonder people from other countries think Americans are stupid. Your average working class Brit on the other hand knows a whole lot more American history.

Just for your info, John Galsworthy, the author of the Forsythe Saga was a Nobel prize winner for literature. The Forsthye Saga is a commentary about changes in society and the people who either survived or didn't survive the changes between the Victorian era and World War 1. . How the heck did you get to be a democrat any way if you can't appreciate history, dramtized or otherwise? Your comments and totally uninformed put downs sound like something a republican yokel fundie would make.
