Seriously, you wind up with some fucking illogical and anti-gravitational sentences:

Jumping down from the burning building and returning to her feet, she coolly lit a cigarette.
Firing the pistol and slapping him about the face, she left the room and drove into town.

2. Verbs that get one inifite. Like, you know, a fight over spelling.

7. I've long thought the overuse of infinite verbs
makes a sentence look like a translation from German. Try reading them with a 'Werner Klemperer' accent.
