Two thousand and eight
I've discovered that it annoys me when people say the year like that (rather than "two thousand eight"). Then I get annoyed that something so petty annoys me. Which is annoying.

That is all.

3. Oddly, I've been noticing people on NPR doing it
Maybe that's why it annoys me - because it seems like they should know better.

5. "Twenty Oh Eight" bothers me more
Somebody at work says it that way, and it drives me crazy. Petty, I know...but sometimes it's the little things.

6. Down The Shore (Must Be A Jersey Thing)
Edited on Fri Oct-31-08 11:09 PM by AccessGranted
I hate when people say that they were "down the shore" or "we're going down the shore" or "we have a house down the shore". Isn't it down at the shore or down by the shore. Drive me nuts.
