My favorite grim reaper...

After I'd put on his makeup, he said, "Wow, Mom! I'm whiter than John McCain!"
I replied, "Yeah, and you're almost as grim, too."

3. He's amazingly aware of what's happening in our country today...
I'm pretty damned proud of him, if you couldn't tell. :D

5. How old is he now?
Timmy doesn't care too much for most of the candy; but he really enjoys dressing up. When he came back from his candy run, he stayed by the door to hand out candy to kids.

9. 12- he used to love the costumes
guess I'll have to wait until he's 14-15 and gets into the costumes again!

:hi: I made mine hand out the candy since he wasn't t or treating. My neighbors were all wondering where he was - I almost sent him out to tell them he was "too old" this year...

leaves were beautiful this year up here, they still are...

any cool gigs lately?

I'm still up baking lasagna for the school dinner tomorrow - and I've been canvassing a bit on top of everything else like work, kid, and my other activities... These couple last days before the election are jam- packed....

14. This week I'll be working with your Pittsburgh Opera conductor again...
Antony Walker...
He's fabulous! I always look forward to this gig. :-)

I'm busier than usual with work, which I'm not going to complain about right now. I'm afraid that may change as the impact of all this economic mess trickles down.

Our leaves haven't hit peak yet...maybe this week.

Good for you, canvassing! Thanks so much!

15. I haven't done that much just a few hours here and there when I had time
it's a great way to really see nearby neighborhoods, instead of just driving through them, and meeting more neighbors...

I love talking to new people and hearing their stories, so it's a pleasure, usually.

8. We've got leftovers...
but I'm afraid they aren't vegan. I'll have to try a vegan recipe sometime...then you can join us for dinner, if you happen to be in the neighborhood. :)

10. My son was the Grim Reaper too
He greeted his father at the door in costume.
"AAAAH!"
"Sorry, dear, it was nice knowing you, but it's your time to go."

On the topic of John McCain, son was making a list of Halloween words with a friend. "Is John McCain a monster?" he asked his dad. (Answer: yes.)
