Okay I just found out that my very VERY dear friend is pregnant and I really want to throw her a really great shower, any ideas??? I know a friend who does those really cool baby cake things and she is going to make one but other than that I need anything ya got!! Please! Thanks DU:toast:

Here is one of my favorite things to do for a baby shower: pick up lots of inexpensive items (look on clearance racks, the dollar store, etc.) Babies need LOTS of things- wipes, teething rings, rubber tipped spoons- and many are pretty reasonable. When we play games, instead of giving out cheap prizes to the participants, I have them select a gift from the pile to give to the parents-to-be.
