Ever since I saw Reagan elected when I was a child, I have felt a lot of alienation from my fellow citizens watching GOP Presidents lie and dishonor the Presidency while being saluted as heroes and praised for their "likeablity." I know we are the majority, but it's hard to recognize it sometimes. I know it's petty and selfish to say so, but I really cannot take another 2000 or 2004 election night right now. I need to feel that the world is better off than that. I need hope.

Anyway, enough of my trivial bs. Sorry to whine.

I am black and I want reparations. The reparations could have been electing Gore. The reparations I want is a progressive America, where all persons are guaranteed food, clothing, shelter (These 3 were proposed by Frederich Hayek in hisRoad to Serfdom), and healthcare. Do conservatives read their own classics? He recognized that without these 3, I make it 4, basic rights all other discussions of what the society should do is unimportant. You can't work without these. You cannot contribute to the society. Although my politics is veering controlled left, these basic needs are not right or left. I believe that mainly the left sees this and a few conservatives who may have actually read the Nobel laureate Frederich Hayek's book.

You all in American have another chance to give me my reparation, the election of a more progressive politician, on Tuesday. Monday is the anniversary of my birthdate. Please give me Obama as president for a present and I will forgive you for not electing Gore.
