4. OK.... we're moving to an apt complex from a very private townhouse so I'm a little apprehensive and

we went there today to set up the kitchen and it was very quiet and peaceful. That made me happy but then I noticed that the apt below me and next to me have American flags EVERYWHERE!! Small flags on wooden sticks in the garden and I mean like 20 of them and a flag thumbtacked outside his door (I say his, as it looks like downstairs has a pick up truck and is disabled) and the other neighbor has them all over the balconey and I noticed the car parked in front of that apt has a VA College logo on the back window and a purple heart on the license plate. I got the creepy feeling that I'm surrounded by military freepers. I'll have to hang up my peace sign and and blue star flags and put 'VOTE OBAMA - VOTE DEMOCRATIC 2008' stickers on my front door and my patio slider window!! :P Otherwise it's a nice apt. Private, nice landscaping. That's all I've got so far!

6. It's been a long time coming and everything that could've gone wrong did.

We almost didn't get the place as the manager wrote up our lease wrong with the wrong move-in date and then left for a weeks vacation. She had dated it to commence December 31st!! :crazy: I had repeatedly told her Nov. 1st and her replacement didn't know his ass from his elbow and the front door was broken when I finally got in to inspect the place and that upset me a LOT! But she came back Thursday, finally, and straightened it all out and the door is fixed now but as a result; I almost didn't get a mover hired due to not having a firm move-in date and that has stressed me out all week. Try booking a move on a Friday, 3 DAYS before your move! Ugh!! It all got resolved yesterday and she apologized for the mix up and actually said; "I really am sorry and I want you to be happy here and I mean that. If you have ANY problems about anything, call me right away!" That made me feel a lot better! ;)
