What do you consider a timeless song?

Seems a good idea for a thread. I've got two nominations, Buffalo Springfield's "For what it's worth" and Johnny Cash's "Man in black" read the lyrics and see the videos and you know they are still relevant today.

God damn, that woman could emote.

In terms of lyrics rather than just raw ability to connect with the listener, Mercedes Benz is pretty timeless in theme, even though the references all seem quite dated.
