I just got home from the Raider / Falcon "game".
My brother called and asked how much he owed ME for giving me his tickets.

Seriously, 3 first downs, 14:45 time of posession and 77 total yards? Yeah, that Al Davis is a friggin' genius. Why doesn't he just fire the whole team? I'm sure he could find some semi-pro prison guard team to come play for him next week. :grr:

2. Thanks emily.
The Falcons played well and deserved the win. The Raiders played like it was pre-season (or worse, that they were still in Pop Warner). I blame it all on Al Davis. He has created the most toxic organization in pro football. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to play for him.

5. He's going to keep trying until he proves his theory that the Raiders don't need a quarterback
Mr. Davis plans to live an awful long time. And if the good die young, he should.

6. The worst thing to happen to the Raiders today:

Flown over Mile High Stadium today. Hired by ProgressNow once they learned a large group of McCain supporters were to be there to tailgate and hand out campaign material to the other Bronco fans.

Probably not as hilarious to you as it is the rest of us.

8. I think that's an awesome idea. Have one of those banners...
...flying around a stadium, with that teams worst enemy shown as McCain's team. LOL!
