The beagle and I went hiking at Starved Rock today. We're both exhausted!

he probably walked twice as far as you did.

4. She'd get walking a good clip, when, all of a sudden a smell would catch her attention.

Then she'd either jerk my arm off running in another direction, or I'd trip over her as she'd come to a screeching halt. Beagles! Four-legs and a nose! :)
