The only album I have from Metallica is the "Black" album. I been hearing that Death Magnetic is just as good or better.

5. Yeah, IMO Death Magnetic is a much better album

I think it's the best thing they've come out with since the 80s and a lot of my fellow Metallica fans are of the same opinion. As much as Metallica probably hates it, you can find all of the new songs online. Thery are quite a bit heavier than what's on the Black album, techinically more difficult to play, longer in duration, and just all around kick assier. Check out "Cyanide" and "My Apocalypse." I think you'll see what I mean. There are also a couple of songs that start out kind of like ballads, but pick up the pace as they get deeper in to the songs. "The Day That Never Comes" and "The Unforgiven 3" are like that.
