What's my obligation here? |
|
The leaves from the tree in my front yard are undeniably falling onto my neighbor's property. We have adjacent 40-foot-wide lots, and she has no trees in her front yard, so I could even say something like "I'm sure that these maple leaves fell from your oak tree."
Am I obliged to rake her yard for her? Or should I just pretend that I have no idea how they got there? Or should I maybe kick them into a pile on her sidewalk and burn them late at night?
Help!

1. How much do you value good relations with the neighbor? |
|
You could just say "Fuck you. LOL! it's your problem" or you could be nice and go rake her lawn, or even some step in between like offering to help. It's all freedom, man.

2. Use a blower on any morning |
|
The earlier the better. Then he may come out and say, "Oh, it's ok. Don't ever worry about those leaves in my yard. (undrebreath: especially at seven o'freakin clock in the morning)"
