Need some moving advice, please? ..... *cry* |

Hi....
I have been moving for the last 3 days. :( Today the actual movers came and moved most of the big stuff out that we wanted but we left a lot of heavy stuff in the place because we don't want it. We will either drag it to the curb (which seems to work) or call 1-800-trash and pay them to haul it away. WE also have a ton of cleaning to do in the old place and a lot of trash, etc to throw away but there are two dumpsters on the property so that isn't an issue. The question I have is this..... I'm so frigging tired and exhausted from 2 days & nights of packing and moving and all this morning from moving stuff and am now in pain (knee's actually giving out) from carrying so many boxes to the car and then up to the new place that I am spent but very anxious to finish this but I need a day of rest/recuperation. Do you think I should try to shrug it off and keep going or rest today, start again in the morning and and Wednesday all day and night? I feel guilty about sitting here even typing this but my whole body aches. This place is going to be renovated and sold eventually, so it isn't like someone is waiting to move in. I feel goofy writing this but I can't think straight anymore, I'm so exhausted. My 20 year old son took the day off from work to help but is still at the old place and I'm getting pissed off waiting for him to get here and help just a little longer. I need him to carry my computer equipment to my car, etc.

and I haven't eaten all day today.
I think a snooze will change my perspective.

it's getting cold out and looks like rain. I'm just worried about paying more rent at this place if I take to long to finish. My lease was up on Nov. 1st, the day I signed the new lease but my old landlord told me not to worry about the time but that doesn't mean he won't pro-rate it either and want more $$. :( I wish my son would get here!! :grr: Maybe I better just take my monitor and computer etc. and head to the new place and get some rest. What we really should do is rent a van from U-Haul and load it up and be done with the BS, then all we'd have to do is clean.
Thanks, Lydia Leftcoast.

5. Finally..... my son has arrived!!! |

Now I'm going to kill him but I'll wait until he helps me get more stuff in the cars! :P
He has to go to work tomorrow, so I need to take advantage of him being here today.
Thanks again!
