The Nerve Of People On Halloween |
|
I was at the local minimarket on Halloween, I know the owners, so i get my stuff and talk with the cashier for a while, and parents were bringing their kids into the market for trick or treating the cashier kid did give them all candy, I have never seen that before, going into a store for trick or treating, I was thinking those parents have 'balls' The cashier was good about it, they are Korean, But I was scratching my head in amazement.....
Have you ever seen that?

4. The couple who run the corner market in my neighborhood |
|
stand outside and hand out candy, and they actually stay open late, too. They have a blast, they know all the kids in the neighborhood, and Mila told me she loves seeing all of them dressed up.

5. Yeah, they totally have done it for decades where I live! |
|
And some of the stores give out the regular-size candy bars, too. I didn't do it as a kid, though. Sounds slightly tacky...

Quite a bit.
They even open the local malls to trick or treaters so they aren't wandering the streets.

12. All the stores here do it |
|
It's safer for the kids than knocking on doors, particularly in my neighbourhood full of drug houses.
