Twice each season, exclusive of playoffs (which I still hope will not be necessary), all sentient beings must root for the R*dsk*ns.

I refer, of course, to the dates of their annual home-and-home series with their division rivals, the Dallas Cowpies ("The Pro-America Part of America's Team").

I am not a Steelers fan by any means, but watching them shred the Redskins tonight was a lot of fun.

The DC area has two AM sports stations, and both preempt national shows for the SAME local Redskins coverage the day after a game. I'm honestly more sick of the Redskins than I am of Paris Hilton.
