It has made it as far as the bridge about 100 yards down the road from me, but I'm not seeing any coming up the street yet. It is on the same side too. I think it is afraid of my triffids. They'd eat it for breakfast.

11. I am too. They are definitely winning. I am afraid I will awake one day strangled by them.

Here are links to pictures of what my jungle really is like. I broke the links so you could see them off site without adding to the server load here tonight.

The tree that my triffids climbed and killed. It loomed and swayed every time the wind blew. It finally fell on its own and landed diagonally to the house, thankfully. I know the triffids intend to eventually eat me because they are what kept the tree from falling on the house. They said, "No, we are fattening her up for Triffid Thanksgiving." :P

A brave bird landed on the triffids one day last winter. Lucky for it, it survived when they started swaying and trying to knock it down lower where the evergreen triffids were still hungry.
