7. It was a nightmare

in more than one way. Freepers everywhere. Deaniacs being royal pains in the asses. Me crying. It turned me off politics for awhile. I'd invested so much time and energy and hope into the Kerry campaign. I left DU shortly thereafter. I stopped following politics. I didn't even care who won the stupid primary this year. It wasn't until Barack sealed things up that I let myself get invested again.
