My whole kitchen smells like apple pie.
Edited on Tue Nov-04-08 05:19 PM by oktoberain
Hot, fresh, homemade apple pie in my blue glass baking dish. I just took the crust shield off, so it'll be done in about 10 more minutes.

Is there ANYTHING that smells more fantastic than homemade apple pie? Ahhhhh. And there's made-from-scratch banana cream and coconut cream in the fridge.

Barack Obama, these pies are for YOU!

1. I'm drinking apple cider right now.
Flash pasteurized. None of the processed crap.

2. I love cider. I make spiced cider at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
2 gallons of fresh, local cider in an enormous stock pot with cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, and clove-studded, halved oranges. Cook until it's *just* shy of boiling, then let it cool and serve with (or without) spiced rum. :9
