In honor of new hope for America, I'm going to watch a movie subtitled "A New Hope" - The Thing.

John Carpenter's The Thing.

I bet you thought Star Wars IV.

And, while I realize that - from a purely technical standpoint, based on mere fact, truth, and reality - the Thing is not subtitled "A New Hope", I submit that it should have been.

Seems to be a common UFO theme. The scene where they show the ship under the ice is cool.
