What would be the best music player for Mac OS X besides iTunes? (is there a Mac Winamp?)

Can anyone please direct me to a really good, multi-format music player that I can use while on the Mac side of my system? Something nearly as good as Winamp is for Windows? I managed to find a codec for iTunes which lets it play .ogg files, but that's not enough.

. . . but you can get something XiphQT or Ogg Drop, QuickTime plugins that allow iTunes to play .ogg files, and apparently VLC also can be used as a standalone (though I don't know why you'd want to for just audio).

3. I use QuickTime Pro sometimes.

It's got a nice feature in which you can alter the speed and pitch of the playback independently.
I occasionally use it to transcribe music.

If I ever seriously get into music transcription or composing that'll be a nice thing to have.

You get to pick the music genre you like and they'll play similar music all the time. You can choose many different style 'stations'. People really like it every time I recommend it.
