1. Who was being homophobic in that thread?
Edited on Wed Nov-05-08 02:14 PM by Shell Beau
I must have missed it.

On edit, nevermind. I see you wrote "voters". I was thinking our "posters". Duh!

4. No one. The voters, including Obama voters, were the ones being homophobic.
Edited on Wed Nov-05-08 02:15 PM by KamaAina
Obama carried the state overwhelmingly. Therefore, Prop H8 could not have passed without some Obama voters voting for it. :puke:

edit: H8

5. I just edited my post because I realized that you said voters.
I was thinking our DU posters.

But yea, I get what you are saying. Sucks!

8. I understand that, but this appears to be a call out thread
directed at DUers. I didn't see any of homophobia on that thread.

10. It was directed at voters, not DUers
in particular, those who supported Obama at the top of the ballot, then turned around and supported bigotry at the bottom.

And, it was a copycat to boot ("Racism Still Exists").

6. Hopefully we're on an upward trend.
I'd be happy even if many fake it until they make it.

And we still have racism, sexism, many many isms to be aware of and change.

"Yes we can."
