Where was your election party and who did you party with?
I was at an Ancient Order of the Hibernians lodge drinking pints of Guiness at very affordable prices with the Wright State University college democrats.

Afterward, I went to the little music bar that organized our canvassing trip to Wisconsin. It was PANDEMONIUM. There was a 15-foot-high Obama portrait hanging off the front of the building. The drinks were on the house. Yes, all of them, for everybody. Some guys from Mucca Pazza ("circus punk marching band" - way better than that description sounds) were playing. The owners were pouring shots and handing them out at random, to toast just about everybody we could think of with any involvement whatsoever in this election.

I'd had the foresight to take today off until the late afternoon. Good thing too: didn't get home til almost dawn.
