3. Fried brown rice, egg flower soup and decaf green tea. |
|
This is a go to meal for us, Mr. Gut likes it and it is healthy. The rice is stir fried with snow peas, corn, onions, ginger and garlic. Then I add some of Kikkoman’s fried rice seasoning mix. I also use their egg flower soup mix and just add an egg, tamari sauce and some green onions. The tea is Tazo and it is called Lotus, I have been cold all day it seems so tea sounds really good.
Pizza burgers sound yummy. Do you take a bun, a patty and add tomato sauce and cheese?

4. The pizza burgers recipe is a comfort food thing. |
|
Not very healthy but comforting.
1 lb ground beef 1/2 lb Spam (ground) 1 C Spaghetti Sauce 1/4 lb shredded Cheddar Cheese Oregano, salt, pepper, and Italian Seasoning to taste.
Brown and drain the ground beef. Add the Spam, spaghetti sauce, cheese and seasonings and simmer for 15 minutes.
Place one scoop of the meat mixture on a hamburger bun and heat on a cookie sheet in a 375°F oven for 5 minutes.

mine was artisan-crafted but it came in a jar. Pasta was dried pasta (Barilla brand.)
It was/is a lazy hangover and not much sleep day.

It's just a convenience store, but the sandwiches are just as good as the ones from real delis, and it's 24 hours.

14. Direct from one of the two or three remaining red states, Zatarain's red beans and rice. |
|
Postponed from the traditional Monday because I didn't feel like doing even that much culinary work on Monday, having gone to a demo that day. http://www.kitv.com/news/17885308/detail.html

And so good for you. Do you ever take Ramen, smash up the noodles in the package and then just sprinkle the dry powder soup base over it and eat it like that? Some of the best Ramen is by Nong Shim, the Shin Ramyun, Gourmet Spicy.
