I'm going to get a tattoo in honor of Obama's victory.

Left shin, just above the ankle. (My torso, arms, upper legs, and lower right leg are reserved for some seriously intricate pieces I've got planned, so that's about the only place I can put it without doing something disrespectful like putting it on my foot.) It'll be easy to show off (just roll up my jeans leg), yet not visible unless I'm in shorts, so I don't have to worry about it affecting job interviews.

And I'm not a tattoo person at all. I mean I don't have any or would ever have any, but I'm a live and let live and enjoy the differences kind of old person.

I think your idea is really good. A historically significant emblem that also happens to be a great little piece of design.
