So today I was a VIP at the Daily Show
how awesome is that?

I got to watch the rehearsal, front row seats of the taping, and pick the brains of a couple of the very witty co-producers during a Q&A in a conference room upstairs, meet some of the cast and directors, and a tour of the whole building. I am so applying for an internship.

No spoilers!

4. Just got back from NBC
It was cool, but I didn't get the same treatment as I did from the Daily Show. I talked with one of the internship coordinators about my background and she told me I'm a strong candidate for an internship in their news production division which would be pretty cool too. I still have 2 years of college left and I'm at NYU so I'll have plenty of time to attempt to land a position at the Daily Show, or the Colbert Report.

6. actually it was pretty easy
I went through this organization http://www.cencom.org/

It's a really awesome non profit that puts together these seminars for undergraduate students in New York and LA who are interested in media so that we can meet, mingle, and pick the brains of top people in the communications field.

Wednesday I got to HBO to hear Douglass Scott speak about the future of advertising on television which will be really cool.
