Unless you have a user name that is gender specific (like Will Pitt, for example) I have no idea what gender anyone is unless they are known to me. As far as assigning a sexual ID to anybody, I always just kinda assume a neutrality unless something is indicated by the person. Some folks are out, others are not, and the rest are none of my business.

As for being "assumed gay," Hon, I'd wear that like a badge of honor in these times. Weird as DU has been lately, I have stayed the hell out of the discussions simply to try and avoid getting tombstoned. NEVER make the mistake of thinking stupid is limited to the "conservatives."
