1. San Francisco and Oakland tonight!
OAKLAND:

A group of protesters plans to rally in front of the headquarters of the Mormon church over the faith's support for a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage in California.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints encouraged its members to work to pass Proposition 8 by volunteering their time and money for the campaign. California voters approved the measure Tuesday.

The Friday evening protest comes a day after people demonstrated outside a Mormon temple in Los Angeles. About 1,000 gay-marriage supporters waved signs and brought afternoon traffic to a halt.

4. Ronny, I know I don't have to worry about you, but
I am concerned about violence. Maybe you can put me at ease by telling me what the atmosphere is like back home. Here I am alone in abject bitterness (truly alone, as Mrs. V. just left for Tennessee).

8. I feel a lot of PISSED off people.
I have not been down to WeHo since this all went down. But the general feeling is this is "Stonewall 2". Of course you have your jerks (both sides) that WANT to start fights, like the dumb ass that jumped on top of a LAPD car weds.

People are very angry, but level headed.

I tend to get a good feel for a crowd when I protest. I can spot the ones that will start shit. I tend to stay clear of them.

7. Yeah, my family is planning on doing some "anti family rioting" for sure on Sunday
Before Prop 8, I was satisfied with agreeing to disagree with "Pastor" Rick Warren and his minions. Now I have moved into action. Agreeing to disagree is no longer sufficient for these assholes.

10. The advantage to eating babies is
they don't need meat tenderizer.
