Are the 'Twilight' books too mature for a 6th grader?
Anyone read them? The trailer for the movie at least looks fairly grown-up.

1. depends on the 6th grader, I think.
They get "racier" as they go along. The last one is quite "mature" though still sort of "circumspect". I suggest you read them first and see what you think. They're kinda fun reading, actually. Though I really didn't like the last one much at all.

2. My daughter has read them all, she started when she was in 6th grade, she seems fairly un-racy to me
i actually don't veto books at all, she's not bringing in porn mags or anything but she loves to read and i'm happy to hook her up with all kinds of different books.
