My 13 year old daughter decided to dye her hair jet black

at a friends house last nite! Little did she know that the tiny fuzzy hairs on her ears would turn black too so now I get the supreme honor of shaving her ears while trying to refrain from choking the ever loving shit out of her! I can't wait till I am old and feeble and move into her house with my 20 cats and Miracle Ear!

But they'll be white, and about an inch long.

10. It is permanent...

and my hairdresser said he would have to strip all the color out and re-dye her to the tune of almost $90! I should make her pay for it herself!

My daughter got a tattoo when she was 16 and actually thought I would never notice it because it was on her neck and usually covered by her hair.

I teach K-6 Music. Every new school year I will see the previous year's 6th Grade students. 99% of them have jet black hair and wear the blackest clothing, usually w/ added silver chains or studs. We call it the Middle School "uniform".

my boys have done is changed their hairstyle slightly on me. But I know the day is coming when they will shock the crap outta me.

14. PLEASE tell me you have videos or photos of the ear shaving

because that's the kind of thing you save to show her future spouse (and everyone else) at the wedding rehearsal dinner. That's how my parents dealt with embarrassing moments in my family and I plan on passing the tradition down to my daughter who currently thinks she's a harajuku girl. Since my daughter is only 8, I know I'll have enough material.
