19. Well, I was thinking the Kama Sutra...
but God Emperor of Dune will do.

Hey, I'm almost at the end of Hunters of Dune. The Baron's memories have returned. The Futars have found their handlers. The excitement is palpable!

24. That's the plan.
It's a fun enough book, and it's interesting to get a sense of what Frank Herbert had in mind for his series. But the writing is so dramatically different, and the book is so fast-paced with month's worth of activity being condensed into a handful of pages.

After I finish these two, I'd like to read this piece of fanfiction:

It's kinda dog-eared. Got it like 20 years ago as a thank-you gift from PBS.

Coolest things about it are the text of the deleted scene with King Brian the Wild and the script of the first draft, complete with editing notes, wherein one discovers that some MPFC bits were originally intended for the film, like the beginning of the "Most Awful Family in Britain" bit in episode 45. ("I really like this Ano-Weet. It really unclogs me.")

47. OMG!
:wow:

I handed that book to my SO to read during circle time at preschool when he first started volunteering in my classroom...about 8 years ago. I've never seen the children react with such interest....they were all wide-eyed and serious. Not the usual giggly response. He was dying...sweating it out while the other teacher looked on. She was near retirement, and really didn't approve...he was going through the motions in shock...HE didn't think there would ever be a book like that in the classroom....His reaction:wtf:
The last page did him in...

He's been my best friend for the past two years...but that is one of our funniest memories..thankfully he forgave me!
So I thank you for the memory :hi:

peace~
