1. My sympathies. My ultra-right-wing fundy in-laws are coming over tomorrow
for my granddaughter's birthday, and my wife has already warned me that they're in a lousy mood over the election.

Great. Something to look forward to... :eyes:

6. I am grateful that we won
so I smiled and kept my cool, although I did say that I voted for the antichrist, what is next...world domination? Just trying to make a joke out of what they were talking about. Much less shaking then years past when I wasn't on the winning team!!! At least I didn't tell my sister to move to Canada, which she used to yell at me when I criticized Bush. I'm still stunned about EVERYONE voting for McCain, after everything so I felt let down.

3. I've heard the whining from repugs here too.
Overheard some raking Obama over the coals for not being a U.S. citizen and how there's nothing they can do about it. :eyes:

4. I take it that politics were not discussed much on your part here...what a difficult position to be
in. It seemed to turn out better than expected...nobody got shot?

7. No, I'm very tough
after 8 years of familial political battles, there was a lot of negativity about Obama but I just kept smiling talking about how excited I've been.
