I miss her.

She doesn't know Obama won.

I would give anything to talk to her right now.

I am thinking positive thoughts about her getting well.

Give you friends and loved ones big hugs and let them know how much you love them.

You never know what might happen.

and hope your friend recovers completely.

I've known of two people who've had aneurysms who's done just that. Many good vibes to her. :grouphug:

4. Many thanks.
She is very strong and in good health.

I have found myself calling her on the phone more then once.

I can't wait to tell her we have a new president.

2. My best thoughts and vibes for your friend
My sister survived a brain aneurism some ten years ago with no permanent damage. I hope your friend will do the same.

5. That is good to hear about your sister.
My friend was so busy and active it is hard to believe she is in a coma.

I didn't get a chance to see her for a few weeks because of her job and my working early voting.

6. I am not a huggy type person but that will change.
I have another neighbor 84 years old who is also in the hospital with lung problems, and maybe cancer.

We are also best friends.

It has been a hard week.

I don't think I could have taken McCain being elected president.

The only bright spot has been President Obama.

12. Thank you lizziegrace.
It was hard working the election without her there.

We would have taken back the election supplies and gone to the big party at the hotel.

I just went home.

We will party later in January.

We will use the big screen TV and have lots to drink and eat.

That will be a great day.

10. whoa, that's terrible
I know that even if you believe in people being able to "talk to Spirit" and those in situations like this or passed on, the family may not. I hope you are able to talk to her eventually, whatever the means.

I agree about the hugs, too, even for our furry-friends.

13. I was the hospitlal today and stayed several hours.
I told her we had a new president, and she had to get better for January 20th.

We will have big party that day.

17. My dear texanwitch...
Oh, how dreadful...

I have worked with patients like her, being retired from nursing, and that is just heart-breaking...

Talk to her, if you can visit...

It is generally thought that hearing persists even beyond the other senses...

And oh how I agree about telling your loved ones that you love them...

You do not want to let those opportunities slip away. I am perpetually grateful that the last time Khashka and I spoke before he died that we told each other that we loved each other...I can still hear his voice...

I hope she recovers fully!

22. I'm very sorry to hear this, texanwitch...
This happened to my sister's best friend when she was in her 50's.

Even though she had a tough road to recovery, she is doing just fine now.

I wish your friend, and you, the very best.

Keep visiting her and talking to her. It is good for you, and she might hear you or at least be aware of you.
It is true that sometimes many of us need to be reminded not to take our friends and loved ones presence for granted.
