3. "It was an evil house from the beginning - a house that was born bad."
"Haven't you noticed how nothing in this house seems to move until you look away and then you just... catch something out of the corner of your eye?"

6. " No live organism can continue for long to exist sanely
under conditions of absolute reality; even larks and katydids are supposed, by some, to dream. Hill House, not sane, stood by itself against its hills, holding darkness within; it had stood so for eighty years and might stand for eighty more. Within, walls continued upright, bricks met neatly, floors were firm, and doors were sensibly shut; silence lay steadily against the wood and stone of Hill House, and whatever walked there, walked alone."

4. Hell, just remodel an existing one. It can be done in about 2.75 million steps
Think of the nails you'll save!

5. What kind of hammer?
Please be specific, otherwise the process will take forever.

7. Yeah, would that be a ball peen, a claw, or a sledge? Gotta make sure.
Makes a huge difference.

Me, myself, when I can't find my household hammer I just use a shoe with a clunky heel. I'm betting THAT would not work out so well for home construction.

8. You don't need no stinking nails!
:P

Just go Post and Beam in construction method. It'll last for centuries and be strong enough to survive hurricanes
