dear god, can i please puke now?

got a stomach bug, i guess. breakfast is still sitting in my stomach. many trips to the can. fever.
but i have yet to puke. you know that feeling. you are gonna puke. you know it. but it is just sitting in your stomach, getting more and more painful. you know that after you do, you are going to feel better. but it is just sitting there.
maybe i should just go ahead and have a few beers. one way or the other?

My sympathies. I've never been able to make myself puke by sticking a finger down my throat, either. I'd have made a lousy bulimic.

2. Ginger. It does wonders.

I had a stomach flu so bad that I couldn't even keep WATER down for 30 hours straight... but the minute I took a sip of ginger ale suddenly I was able to keep it down, and a few hours later I risked eating something and it was fine.

Alternately, stick your finger down your throat. Icky, but if you really want to vom and it's not forthcoming, that usually works.

actually, it is a green tea ginger ale, which i am not really crazy about. but i am desperate.
