My dog Gus just finished vocational school this morning.

He and his graduating class were at a game farm where we shot two pheasants for him & he retrieved them.

Now he has a trade.

3. Actually, he's been TRYING to earn his keep

by thievery. He brought the neighbor's rubber barn boot home with him last night. We also had one roofer's kneepad, a starter rope from an old lawnmower, a full plastic Coke bottle, and a few other choice items in a collection that he brought home.

I'm trying to teach him to steal rum to go with it.

5. My dog seemed to concentrate on stuffed animals and toys,

with the occasional boot spicing up the loot. The best offering she EVER made was half a six-pack of ice cold beer. She got major snackies for that effort. :)
