1. Ah, a Cabela's, beloved by the outdoorsy and hunter types |
And judging by other things in the picture, it's close to a giant IKEA.

7. They just call it Mountain Creek now |
They got rid of the loop waterslide that killed people, but they kept the rope swing plunge into the water that was so cold it was causing heart attacks.

11. I remember that cold to this day |
there were also two tubes that took an extremely sudden right turn and dumped you into the same area, totally disoriented from the direction change which you even knew was coming and still messed you up

8. Yes -- but then you're in WV |
Edited on Mon Nov-10-08 06:20 PM by haruka3_2000
NJ is vastly superior. The new Cabela's will be in one of the shittiest parts of NJ, a place best known for the pig farms that used to be there, and the many bodies dumped by the mafia, but I'd still rather be there than WV.

10. And if you head west 20 minutes from there, you're somewhere nice |
If you head east 20 minutes, you're in NYC. It's win-win. WV is like four hours from NJ. What does WV have, aside from a nice welcome center on the highway?
