She's helping her mom take care of her dad, who has Alzheimer's. She's also helping them to get their affairs in order, visiting their attorney today. She's planning to be away for a week, and she's prepared for a longer stay if it comes to that.

Mrs. V. is entering a very difficult time, with the probable death of both parents looming.* She is very strong, and very tough, but that doesn't mean these aren't hard times. Please keep her in your thoughts.
