I've decided to confront my enemy...
My weight...

I've slacked off on going to the gym and I'm loving my desserts way too much!

Now, as we head into the calorie-laden holiday season, I have decided that enough is enough...

One of these days (really!) I'll head back to the gym, and tonight, I had half the dessert I normally have...

I've got too much fat on me, and it has to go!

I call it my Winter's Resolution!

*whimper*

3. Fat is the enemy of many.
I have found yoga to be some of the best exercise for controlling weight.

I think because it allows the free flow of energy, your metabolism is stronger and you utilize the food you do eat more efficiently.

4. My dear siligut...
I've been more or less fat all my life...

It really helps to exercise!

Burn the calories, ingest fewer, and voila! I lose weight...

I just have to do it...

5. Which one of these days specifically will you head back to the gym?
That's right, Peggy...I'm watching you.

Oh, you are, are you?

Not sayin'!

I keep having too many things to do in the morning...and I'm not a morning person...

But I like to hit the gym then...

Oh well.

Soon, OK?

:P

7. Sounds like excuses, Peggy.
I kid. If you're at your best in the morning, then you should get to the gym then, when you can schedule it. I will say, I've had and created amongst clients very good results not only in the morning but also in the afternoon, evening and post-midnight.

Just sayin'. I know, I'm evil.

8. You're right, of course!
I am making excuses...

I just need to get off my duff, and get going...

And, no...you're not evil!

BTW, you have mail...

10. My dear barb162!
Thanks, sweetie...

But if I've learned anything, I've learned how to use clothing as camouflage...

The belly is the bane of my existence!

I've gotten it down before, and I will again...

I just need to work at it!

11. Desserts! Desserts! That is my mothers downfall too. And she is diabetic!
My skinny ass younger sister eats a can of frosting in one sitting. My brothers are the same way.

I'm more of a meat and potatoes kinda gal and don't care much for sweets. They insist I was switched at birth, LOL!

Good luck on the diet and workouts!

12. I love desserts!
Luckily, I am NOT diabetic!

That would be a major dislocation....:scared:

Thanks, sweetie...

I'm going to need all the good luck I can get my hands on!

18. My dear NewJeffCT!
Ah, thank you, sweetie...

I'm not really very overweight...it's just that this damn belly is too big...

And I'd like to see it smaller!

Plus, I'm not as strong or agile as I'd like...

And there's nothing wrong with how you look, either!

15. You look just fine in your pics Peg...
but I commend you for wanting to go back to the gym...that is never a bad thing.

It is a never ending battle for me. I shoot a ton of insulin, and that causes you to have a ferocious and unnatural craving for sweets. So, I spend my days talking myself out of eating junk food.

Good luck on your endeavor!

16. I bought a bike to get into shape on my own,
and then threw my back out along with aggravating my sciatic nerve. I haven't been on it in months. (I'm healing, so should be able to get back on it soon.)

I'm not much of a gym-person, but I hear it's best to get a trainer :) Set up a regimen and good luck!

(I should get into yoga, too...)

17. My Dear CaliforniaPeggy
You are not, I repeat, overweight
I like you just the way you are......

  :hi:

"There is a passion in the human heart that is called aspiration. It flares with the noble flame, and by its light Man has traveled from the caves of darkness to the darkness of outer space. But when this passion becomes lust, when its flame is fanned by greed and private hunger, then aspiration becomes ambition-by which sin the angels fell."

Ah, you are a sweetheart!

I am actually a bit over my ideal weight...

But this damn belly is the thing that upsets me!

Even if I manage to get it down a bit, I'll still be me...
