(Watching that show on the History Channel right now.)

I'd like to have droids.

8. The Force evolved over the course of the series
It began as a mystical religious and/or spiritual discipline and wound up being microscopic organisms that reside inside your cells the number of which somehow determines the host's ability to use the Force. :( I'm not sure, though. I always kinda tune out when I try to watch the prequels.

12. If the computer games count as canon, then it can be achieved technologically
A key point of the storyline for Jedi Knight 2 was that the Imperial Remnant developed a method of giving ordinary troopers force powers.

22. Theory of Relativity, my ass...
I want something that'll get me from Earth to Sirius in 5 hours! Hyperspace wins hands down.

But I have to admit that those lightsabers are rather elegant, especially if you know how to use one right.

18. The retcon explanation...
Edited on Tue Nov-11-08 09:45 AM by DarkTirade
was that the black hole cluster near Kessel makes navigation dangerous, and to shave off a few parsecs Han cut closer to the black hole cluster than is normally considered safe. :P

15. Soldiers who carried stun weapons.
Edited on Tue Nov-11-08 09:09 AM by DarkTirade
Real stun weapons, not things that are painful and disabling in the way that most of our current ones are. No more torturing people with tasers. No more shooting someone when it could be avoided. No more NOT shooting someone who needs to be stopped because you're worried about an innocent person in the line of fire.

Yes, there's still potential for abuse... but a lot less than our current technology.

29. An army of clones at my beck & call?
and, I mean the older school clones from Episodes 2 and 3 (and the Clone Wars cartoon series in between) when the clones were semi-competent.

not the clones from episodes 4-6 where they couldn't hit the Death Star from the inside and get taken down by ewoks armed with rocks and sticks.

And plenty of armament reloads.

A gunboat that can beat most light-to-medium capital ships by itself, also does anti-fighter duty, and comes with shields, hyperdrive, engine booster, and a small-scale tractor beam? Yes PLEASE.

And I will take it through the drive thru at McDonalds.

And if I'm five blocks away and find out they screwed up my order or the fries are cold, I can still turn and fire on the restaurant.

There are advantages to having an exceedingly tall, 4-legged armed transport.
