Happened to me too.
Do you have friends, and are they friends of your friends?
I had a bunch of promoters for Chicago night clubs try to get me.
They're just looking for someone to sell,
or, they are desperate.
I just said no thanks, and ignored em!

If you're name isn't really distinctive, there's probably someone with a name like yours or close enough to it. I've accidentally "friended" people I thought I knew, but it turns out I didn't.

I learned all the tricks when a friend of mine had a friend request from a prof and started shitting bricks when she realized that her options were a) deny request and offend prof. b) accept request and be exposed as a degenerate c) run a scrub d) fuck with the settings to keep prof in relative darkness.
