1. The Ramones are all dead but the first drummer, Tommy.
He became a studio guy/producer.

3. Though technically not dead,
The Rolling Stones are considered to be the most heavily embalmed 60's era band.

4. I just heard this a few minutes ago and was coming here to post too
Billy Cox is the only surviving one from the band, and he joined during summer of '69.

The original JHE are all playing tonight in heaven, and I have to imagine Duane Allman, SRV and some of the other greats that have died too soon are joining them in one helluva jam.

RIP Mitch Mitchell - someone who I believe has always been overshadowed by the Moon's and Bonham's, but who could hold his own in my opinion.

5. Buddy Miles passed last February.
So that does leave Cox as the only surviving "member" of any of Jimi's bands I believe.

6. correct blues
At least with respect to the "significant members" - I think Juma Sultan, and Geraldo "Jerry" Velex are still around (Larry Lee, the other guitarist at Woodstock) died earlier this year too.
